Charitable Foundation
Fernie House has a charitable foundation with the mission to support the needs of the children and youth involved in the Fernie House programs. Our foundation raises funds and capital resources to enhance and enrich the lives of our children and youth.
We also have a development process that seeks to create new and effective resources for children and youth. We look for ways to meet the needs that exceed current community resources. This exciting foundation gives us the means to work beyond the current government and ministry funding arrangements. Recently this foundation provided the funds to install a professional music recording studio. This studio now helps youth create hip hop and other recorded music. The ministry joined in on this imitative with added funds to provide staffing and operational support, a true collaboration.
